Writing inspiring novels makes me happy. Sharing them with others magnifies my joy. Please read these samples chapters of my two most recent books. If you like my writing, please send me an email (anniez@hawaiiantel.net) and I'll send you the complete novels. P.S. I love happy endings!

Someplace Warm (112,000 words) is about two strangers, a sixty-year-old housewife who believes her life is over and a thirty-year-old carpenter whose lifestyle has gone stale. One fateful night they save each other’s lives then journey together to find their true homes. Someplace Warm appeals to baby boomers craving character-driven novels about believable women who discover new strength, passion, and joy in their later years. Read the first pages here.

Lila Blue (106,000 words) begins when a twelve-year-old girl is sent to live on the Oregon coast with her dead father’s mother, Lila Blue, the grandmother she’s never met. She expects disaster but instead finds a magical world of possibilities where she learns the truth about her family, falls in love with the beach and its people, and blossoms into a charming, courageous person with dreams worth believing in. This story appeals to women who appreciate how family relationships shape our personal destinies. Read the first pages here.

About me:  To support my reading and writing passions, I’ve lived in a dozen American towns and worked many jobs, including farm laborer, high school writing teacher, bookstore manager, astrologer, college English teacher, waitress, technical editor, and barber. My current day job is counseling public school children in Maui. It’s fascinating watching all my travels and life experiences transform into heart-warming novels. Thank you for finding me. Aloha!
